A catch up with VUT Ladies FC striker, Thandiwe Msibi

SHARPVILLE.-  VUT Ladies FC striker Thandiwe Msibi can't wait to be back in the field of play when the lockdown is over.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Msibi said she is missing football and she told Sedibeng Ster Sport that without football her life is incomplete.
This 25-year-old striker,  is the clubs’ top goal scorer, in the last three games, she scored four goals.
She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that her mission is to play for Banyana Banyana and persuade her career abroad.
“I must admit I miss football and I can’t wait for this lockdown to be over. Look, my life without football is not complete. I have played football as long as I remember. I miss my teammates even though we communicate on the phone. But it is not as if we don’t do nothing, we are training very hard at home despite the lockdown,” she concluded.
As things stands, it still not clear when the Safa Sasol Women League will resume after leagues all over the world were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
