For now, sports facilities will remains lockdown. This was announced by the minister of Cooperative Governance, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma during the Level 4 COVID-19 Risk-Adjusted Strategy briefing over the weekend. Dlamini-Zuma announced that gyms will remain closed and no organised sports gatherings and running or walking. This means sports people or athletes will continue to training from home.

They will have to wait until Tuesday if they will get a go ahead to resume with their various sporting activities or not. It is now a month since nationwide lockdown with all sports been suspended all over the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of the athletes have already showed frustration training from home without competition.
