Woman could be buried as pauper if family doesn’t come forward

"The body was discovered late last month and up to this day, no family has come forward to claim the body."

THE BARRAGE. – The Barrage police spokesperson Warrant Officer Simon Mofokatsane urges any family who might have a missing female relative to come forward.

This is after a body of an African female who was wearing a black dress with a white flower was found in an open veld next to the Blesbokfontein area  in Barrage.

“The body was discovered late last month and up to this day, no family has come forward to claim the body.”

Mofokatsane said that the body has now started to to decompose. He said that if no family comes forward, the woman would be given a pauper burial.

“We are urging anyone who has lost a female relative to contact The Barrage SAPS on 016 987 6720.”
