SEBOKENG. – A Facebook user by the name of Motshidisi Maboko has through a post on Facebook page ‘ Vaal Notice Board’ threatened to spread Covid-19, saying that she would not die alone.
A concerned community member Ntombizodwa Mlilo posted on the South African Police Services (SAPS) Facebook page asking for assistance regarding the matter.
“We need help regarding this woman, who is threatening our lives with Corona Virus. On her Facebook post this morning she informed Vaal community that she was diagnosed with the deadly Covid-19 and she’s spreading it and she won’t die alone. Kindly help us as we are afraid for our lives.”
After the post went viral, many called for the woman’s arrest.
Sedibeng Ster has since sent an inquiry to the SAPS regarding the matter.
