Please help us find Ntate Michael Mokgema

SEDIBENG.- With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing the country to shut down, the Mokgema family is worried about their missing father.

Michael Mokgema, who is now 73 years,  has been missing since 2013 with no trace. Mokgema is from Small Farm in Evaton. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster his nephew, Mapitso Tlale, said they opened a missing person case with Evaton SAPS but with no success of finding their father.

According to Tlale they were told by community members that they had seen him in Vereeniging. “It is almost seven years since my uncle went missing and we thought he would come back home after the announcement of lockdown. As a family we are very worried and we don’t even know if he is still alive or not. With this COVID-19 pandemic thing we are even more worried about him,” said Tlale.

Mokgema went missing in June, during school holidays.

Tlale said Mokgema used to disappear but would come back home after a few days, this time he hasn’t  returned home. Anyone who sees or hears anything about Mokgema can contact Mapitso Tlale at this number 065 614 7717.
