SEBOKENG. – “Covid-19 is real and people should take care of themselves, but most importantly they should pray.” These are the words of Archbishop Apollo Sandamela, of the St John Star Episcopal Apostolic Church of Prophecy in Sebokeng.
Archbishop Sandamela told Sedibeng Ster that as a church they believe in the existence of Covid-19 and the harm and deaths that it causes. He adds that with that being said, they believe that prayer will get the world through the ‘rough seas’ (Covid-19 period).
“The virus is there and it kills but there is nothing more powerful than prayer. Let us all pray and ask God for his mercy. People should also repent, mend their ways and trust in the Lord that they will be healed and this shall pass.”
He encouraged the community to read the scripture of John 5 1-19.
