Tough Eagles Netball Club assists needy players

SEBOKENG.- Tough Eagles Netball Club management took an initiative to donate food parcels to theirĀ  struggling players.

With many families struggling to put bread on the table during the COVID-19 pandemic the team took this initiative to assist their players.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, club Director Fakazile Nkitseng said life has not been the same for some of Tough Eagles Netball Club members since the lockdown and they decided to do something about their situation.

Nkitseng said donations were received from parents, friends and Dinokeng Sports Academy to assist at least eleven members of the team.

“It is not easy for everyone including those people who are working. We identified some of our members especially those whom we know are in desperate of assistance in the form of food parcels. We want to thank parents, friends and members of community who contributed to the success of this initiative to help the players and their families,” said Nkitseng.

She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that things will go back to normal as soon as netball returns in the court.
