Mzion’s name lives on

SEBOKENG.- Late local Orlando Pirates No 1 Supporter, Johannes “Mzion” Mofokeng’s legacy continues to reign supreme.

This was after one of the Orlando Pirates supporter’s branches was named after him recently. The branch, in Zone 13, Sebokeng, was named the Orlando Pirates Mzion Mofokeng Supporters Branch.

Mofokeng was not only well known as a passionate Orlando Pirates fan but also a fanatic Bafana Bafana supporter. Mofokeng used to grace international and national media back pages with his unique Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana attires. He was the most decorated soccer supporter in the South African football, sadly he passed away in 2011.

In honour of Mofokeng, the branch recently donated food parcels to the needy families in Zone 13.
