Young man has big dreams for radio and TV

Matwa said that he started loving commentary at a young age and was inspired by legendary commentators such Thabo Kofa and Baba Mthethwa.

SEBOKENG.- Themba Matwa is an ambitious young man from Sebokeng with the determination to become a Sesotho radio and television sports commentator.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Matwa said that he started loving commentary at a young age and was inspired by legendary commentators such Thabo Kofa and Baba Mthethwa.
He sent Sedibeng Ster his video clips where he demonstrated his commentating for a live match between the Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in Sesotho.
Matwa also told Sedibeng Ster that one of his biggest dreams is to see himself commentating in football events such as FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games to mention but few. He believes that achieving his dream of commentating will also drastically change the lives of his family. “I want to do my mother and my two sisters proud because they mean everything to me. I grew up in a shack, but I won’t die living in these conditions. When I’m watching the match on television I concentrate on commentary, especially Ntate Mthetwa because he is my role model,” said Matwa.
He appeals to anyone who can assist him in making his dream a reality
