WALKERVILLE. – The police in De-deur are investigating the brutal murder of a white female whose badly burnt body was discovered in an open veld, near plot 78 in Bronkkhorsfontein on Saturday. The incident takes place a day before Women’s Day.
Police Spokesperson Tshegofatso Maliehe says, “Police responded to a complaint about the dicovery of a body that was badly burnt.
On arrival, they found the body on the gravel. The head of the deceased was found covered with a plastic bag that had melted on her face during the fire, her hands and feet were tied with a cloth.
Maliehe said that the motive behind the gruesome killing was unknown. “A murder docket has been launched and the police are investigating.”
