Help Mokgara achieve her dream
Mokgara who is representing Gauteng Province is optimistic of being crowned Empress 2021.
SEDIBENG.- Local, Malekoa Mokgara (24), a Media graduate and a Communication Science student at the University of South Africa, is one of semi-finalists of Miss Empress South Africa 2021 (MESA).
MESA is an online based beauty with brains pageant and a women empowerment platform aimed at developing young women to grow and make a positive impact in their communities through charity works.
Mokgara who is representing Gauteng Province is optimistic of being crowned Empress 2021.
“What inspired me to enter Empress South Africa is that it is a unique platform that suits my vision of women empowerment and community development.
“I have contributed to my community in various ways; through volunteering at the local radio station as a news anchor and at the local school as an administrator.”
The pageant instils confidence in women, as it does not have a fixed meaning of beauty. Every girl stands a chance to be crowned despite of their height or weight. The pageant date has not yet been finalized due to the current lockdown.
