Dipuo Metsing, who is a teacher at the school said that together with other educators they were touched to see members of the Bike Club joined by Takosa going out of their way to think of the learners.
“Indeed this was a good idea,” she told Takosa and his team. She urged the team to continue doing good in the society.
Takosa said that he grew up in the area and wished to make a change.
“The shoes and towels donated are from the monies out of my friends’ pockets. We want to make changes in the lives of an African child.
It was my birthday recently therefore I decided not to accept gifts, and I instead urged any volunteer to buy pairs of shoes and pads.”
