The New Horizon Movement (NHM) was launched recently at the Apostolic Faith Mission in Bedworth Park, Vereeniging.
The President NHM, Vincent Jones said that professionalised municipality, servanthood, service delivery and communal prosperity is what the party is aiming for.
“We want to deal away with stomach politics, power, empty promises and individual enrichment.”
Jones said that NHM is a non-racial, non – sexist, community movement formed by concerned residents.
“Our vision is to change local government towards a non-political, clean and professionalized local governance. The cadre deployment, issues of incompetence, corruption should be deal away with.
“People with skills and administrative arm should be considered. Let’s do away with outsourcing of services and established a local municipality that will be forced to work in conjunction with the police to fight crime.
The NHM is different to a political party because it’s a community – based movement. We are driven by a broad people’s agenda instead of narrow political agenda,” said Jones.
