Family sought after man dies at Kopanong Hospital

The police have launched a culpable homicide case docket.

VEREENIGING. –  The police are looking for the family of 51-year-old Themba Nkosi Celu who died at Kopanong Hospital.

Celu was brought to Kopanong Hospital by paramedics on 24 March after he was ran over by a tractor.

Police spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda says, “It was alleged that the patient was picked up by paramedics at plot 97 in Meyerton after he was ran over by a tractor. Culu died in April.”

Funda reports that police went searching for relatives at the above mentioned address with no luck.

“The body is kept at the government mortuary. We are  appealing  to anyone who might know the deceased or may have any information  of the incident to contact the investigating officer Detective Warrant Officer Zithobile Ndaba on 0634 863 194 or 016450 2615”
