No injuries reported in aborted take-off

Fortunately no injuries were reported.

KWA-ZULU-NATAL: At around 14:40 today Netcare 911 responded to an aircraft incident at Virginia Airport, Durban North.

Reports indicate that the pilot of a Piper Malibu Mirage aborted take-off after experiencing difficulties. The aircraft was safely brought to a standstill just passed the runway threshold, sustaining damage to the front landing gear as it dug into the ground.

Fortunately no injuries were reported.
