SEBOKENG.- It was a day well spent when local netball teams became involved in friendly games to comemorate Youth Day in style at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14 on Wednesday, June 16. These games were organised by the Sedibeng Netball Federation Chairperson, Fakazile Nkitseng. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Nkitseng said apart from comemorating Youth Day the main purpose of the games was to encourage non-affilated teams to affiliate with the Sedibeng Netball Federation. Nkitseng donated a netball kit to Vaalians Netball Club . She also told Sedibeng Ster Sport that Sedibeng Netball Federation is looking for a long term partnership with local businesses. This was after they succesfully got a u/19 netball kit from Vaal Milling. “We want to build  youth that is focused on sport and academics and not substances abuse,” she told Sedibeng Ster Sport.
