Construction company robbed

VEREENIGING. – Three business robbery suspects are still at large after they managed to tiet up three security officers and robbed them of their cell phones , money. they also robbed the construction company that the security guards were guarding of valuable items.

The incident happened at corner Phillip Nel and Senator Rood Road in Unitas Park, Vereeniging yesterday. 18 June, at around 01:45.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said the three unknown male suspects holding firearms held two security guards, tied their hands and feet. They further went to on todemand keys of the construction site. The security guards were then locked inside the guard room.
After the complainants rescued themselves, the suspects were gone and they noticed that items worth R65 000 had been stolen.

Police appeal to anyone might be knowing the whereabouts of the suspects  to report to the nearest Police Station or on MySAPSApp or call SAPS Crime Stop 08600 10111 or sms to Crime Line 32211.

“Information provided will be treated with confidentiality,” said Makhale.
