CAF medal awaits local boy
Kaizer Chief is guaranteed either a losers or winners medal in the CAF final match next week.

SEDIBENG.- Local boy, Lebohang Lesako will receive his first CAF (Confederation of African Football) Champions League medal, be it silver or gold, in his first season in top flight football. This Tshepiso, Sharpeville, born young star was promoted to Kaizer Chiefs first team towards the end of 2019/2020 soccer season. Lesako has played one CAF Champion League match. Kaizer Chiefs will be up against the defending Champions Al Ahly in the much anticipated CAF Champion League final schedule to take place in Morocco on July 17. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Lesako said as much as he wanted to play as many CAF games as he could, injuries obstructed him. However, he believes getting a CAF Champion League medal will be a greatest achievement in his short career in the PSL. “I have never imagined that one day I will be part of the players that form part of history. But for the mere fact that we are in final is a dream come true as far as my football career is concerned. I was very unfortunate to suffer from injuries when I wanted to establish my football career in the PSL”, said Lesako. Kaizer Chief is guaranteed either a losers or winners medal in the CAF final match next week.
