SEBOKENG. – Not long this Golden Highway will be narrowed as long as the community turns it into dumping. Ezekiel Mosidi believes that it is a matter of time when people will start to see motorists zip- zagying trying to avoid rubbish thrown on the the Golden Highway. At the time Sedibeng Ster arrived at an intersection, near Zone 16 and Fochville road, there were huge garbage plastics lying a meter from the Golden Highway. Another resident, a pensioner, said she had the reason to dump there as this will bring a clear message to the Emfuleni Local Municipality Waste Department. “Everytime we are been told that trucks are not available due to the break down or lockdown. The best place to dump is here, and if the municipality is not responding, we intend to dump further in the road.”
