Shop owner shoots customers for R2

It is said that the shooting started when a customer demanded his R2 change.

BOPHELONG.- The Bophelong community was divided after a foreing national tuckshop owner allegedly shot two customers for R2 in Muvangho Extension 17, Bophelong yesterday, Saturday.

It is said that the shooting started when a customer demanded his R2 change.
One of the onlookers told Sedibeng Ster that the shop owner pulled out a firearm and hit one customer on the hand and the second customer who was in the vicinity of the scene on the thigh. the community became enraged about the incident and wanted to attack the shop owner and destroy his shop but they were calmed down.

Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said the suspect was arrested and his firearm was confiscated.
