Sedibeng SAPS launch vaccination rollout

A total of 700 members will be accommodated daily. Members on rotation or leave are also requested to receive their vaccinations.

SEDIBENG. – Members of the South African Police Services (SAPS) in the Sedibeng District will be vaccinated starting from tomorrow.

The vaccination rollout is due to take place at the Sedibeng HRDC (Training Centre) from Thursday 22 July and will take place on weekdays from 07:30 till 15:00.

This announcement from the Sedibeng District Commissioner Major General Zodwa Molefe comes after the recent cancellation of the vaccine drive due a technical error at the head office.

Police Spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda says, “Stations and Unit Commanders are urged to send as many members as possible as the district is only allocated the following dates; 2021-07-22, 2021-07-23, 2021-07-27 and 2021-07-29 by the Department of Health.

“A total of 700 members will be accommodated daily. Members on rotation or leave are also requested to receive their vaccinations.”
