Sports activities to resume in Level 3

Sedibeng Netball and Emfuleni Federations will resume with their activities.

SEDIBENG.- With the government moving the country to Level 3, the Sedibeng Netball and Emfuleni Federations will resume with their activities.
All sporting activities were suspended when the country experienced a third wave of Covid-19.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Sedibeng Netball Federation Chairperson, Fakazile Nkitseng said they will resume with their programmes, especially the preparations for squads that will compete in the netball Championships.
Nkitseng told Sedibeng Ster Sport that their first priority will be getting the squads ready. In a previous interview, Nkitseng said they were already ahead with the selection of the squads when the President Cyril Ramaphosa announced nationwide lockdown.
“Look, during lockdown we were busy looking for sponsorships for our regional squads and those who were selected were given the forms to look for sponsorships. We also appeal to local companies and business to come on board. As Sedibeng Netball Federations I wish to take this opportunity to thank those who have already showed commitment in terms of sponsorships. We want our squads to be ready come Championships,” said Nkitseng.
