Sedibeng/Emfuleni region U/15 Netball League resumes

“It is great to be back, and you could see that everyone was excited to be back in action, especially the players."

SEBOKENG.- It was action galore when the Sedibeng Region and the Emfuleni Sub-region Twizza Netball Club U/15 League resumed their league fixtures at Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Sebokeng, over the weekend. League Coordinator, Lebohang Mphuthi spoke to Sedibeng Ster Sport and said that they have resumed their league programme after almost a month due to the nationwide lockdown.

“It is great to be back, and you could see that everyone was excited to be back in action, especially the players. You could see that they missed playing the sport that they love most. We had to respect the President’s call to suspend all the sporting activities due to the third wave of this pandemic. As usual, the standard of the competition was very high with all the teams giving their best in the court,” said Mphuthi.

Despite the chilly weather, the games were exciting to watch with some netball lovers coming to support their local teams.
