VANDERBIJLPARK. – The frontline workers and staff of Johan Heyns Community Clinic in Vanderbijlpark participated in a 3 km Fun walk that lasted for almost an hour and half yesterday.
The Foot Health Fun Walk saw at least fifty participants entering and started at the clinic. Mandy Nkuna, a team member and Podiatrist at the clinic appreciated the turn up of participants and said, “Although were were expecting seventy people who registered. It is good for the front employees sometimes move out of the offices and rubbing shoulders with other staff. Here everyone is the winner.”
Nkuna said that she hopes that next year, should the pandemic be under serious control, they will be able to increase the participants’ numbers.
