Tshepang Moremi looks to bring his scoring boots from youth hat-tricks to Soweto Derby

Moremi has a long history of scoring goals.

SEDIBENG.- Young football star from the Vaal, Tshepang ‘Bhuda’ Moremi, put on a man-of-the-match display for Orlando Pirates as they beat Milford FC 3-0 in the Carling Black Label Cup at the Orlando Amstel Arena yesterday.

Moremi scored two goals and tormented the Milford defenders with his great pace.

This brilliant performance came just after coach Pitso Mosimane named Moremi in the preliminary Bafana Bafana squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya on November 13.

Moremi certainly repaid that faith in style.

The timing could not have been better, as Orlando Pirates now prepare to face their fierce rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the Premiership League derby on Saturday.

Football fans from the Vaal are expected to travel in large numbers to help pack the FNB Stadium to full capacity, making Moremi a key player to watch during the big Soweto showdown.

Moremi has a long history of scoring goals.

His development coach at Benfica FC, Paul Motsepe, shared a classic photograph from the Sedibeng Ster archives showing Moremi at just 13 years old after he scored his third hat-trick of the season.

According to Coach Motsepe, scoring goals has been in Moremi’s blood since he was a young boy.
