MEC goes from door to door to encourage vaccination

The Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Faith Mazibuko recently conducted door-to-door visits in the Sedibeng District to encourage the community to get vaccinated.

VEREENIGING.- Mazibuko was joined by Senate Sejake Acting Director Clinical Services at Sedibeng District and other officials. Mazibuko and her entourage also visited the Evaton Mall to encourage people to get vaccinated.

Sedibeng District Executive Mayor Cllr Lorato Maloka on Friday (10 September 2021) also visited a pop-up vaccination site at the Vaal University of Technology in a drive to get the student community and public to vaccinate.

In August the Gauteng Department of Health also put a a pop-up vaccination site at the Vereeniging Taxi Rank to encourage members of the public to get vaccinated.
