Parent pulls out a knife on EFF member outside school

People at the front managed to grab the knife and intervene.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Chaos erupted outside a school when one of the parents took out a brown colour Okapi knife and threatened to stab one of the members of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) during their visit to Die Anker School for the physically challenged yesterday. This comes at the time parents went to the school ahead of the meeting organised for 16:00 to resolve an issue where a black learner was apparently assaulted by a white learner before losing two teeth two weeks ago. At the time the parents learner arrived, the EFF members demanded to be part of the meeting. During the squabble, in front of the police, one of the parents reacted to the EFF’s request and told the EFF members that they don’t want any support and that they are “on their own”. At that time a parent pulled out a knife, chasing the everyone standing in his way. People at the front managed to grab the knife and intervened. When a teacher opened the school’s driveway gate EFF members also forced themselves inside the premises. The police negotiate and threatened them with arrest for invading the school premises. However no one was injured or arrested.
