EVATON.- The Sedibeng anti-hijacking team together with Evaton Police apprehended a 42-year-old man for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition in Small Farms, Evaton yesterday morning at around 04:20.

Constable Thulisile Msibi said that police had information of the wanted suspect and they proceeded to the address given, upon arrival they searched the premises and they found the firearm and ammunition, the suspect failed to produce a license to possess a firearm.

“The suspect tried to run away however the police apprehended him immediately and will be appearing in the magistrate court soon”.
