SEDIBENG.- For the first time, in almost two years, fans were back into the stadium on Tuesday.
The vaccinated soccer fans were allowed in the stadium when Bafana Bafana beat Ethiopia 1-0 in the Qatar FIFA World Cup Qualifier return match on Tuesday.
There were familiar faces on the stand such as Machaka who is also Kaizer Chiefs supporter. To make it interesting, even Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos was full of praise for the soccer fans who were in attendance.
Speaking to the media, Broos said he expected more numbers in the next Bafana Bafana games. He said the fans played an important role in the Bafana Bafana victory on the day.

It is not yet clear when the PSL will allow soccer fans back in the stadium.
