‘The aim is to tarnish my image’: Mnisi

The case has been postponed for further investigation until 9 November.

VEREENIGING. – The case against the alleged mastermind behind the looting in Sedibeng, Themba Mnisi, has been postponed for further investigation until 9 November. His bail of R40 000 was extended at the time he briefly appeared on19 October at the Vereeniging Magistrate’s court. Mnisi, who was arrested for allegedly inciting looters in this region, said there’s unfairness in this case. Mnisi was exclusively speaking to Sedibeng Ster in terms of points raised by the case against him. He believes that delaying tactics are been used against him by the forces of law and order. ” I have since been vocal against corruption. Our region is sitting on the ticking bomb due to corruption. The aim here is nothing but to tarnish my image and credibility.” said Mnisi.
