The members encouraged community members to break the silence and report any form of abuse of women and children.

EVATON.- The Evaton police, together with CPF and youth crime prevention desk, Social crime Coordinators recently made an awareness of 16 days of activism violence against women and children.

The campaign was conducted at Zone 7 and Emthonjeni Evaton.

The members encouraged community members to break the silence and report any form of abuse of women and children occurring within their communities.

The police also made the community aware of different forms of abuse

* Gender based violence
* Domestic violence
* Children’s rights
* Human rights

Pamphlets were also distributed to the community members.
