Major General Molefe promotes 18 officers to high ranks

VEREENIGING.- The spotlight for police promotion ranks was once again on the men and women in blue who have shown their dedication, contribution and commitment to their careers.
Sedibeng District Commissioner of the police Major General Zodwa Molefe, with the help of her senior managers, awarded the promotion to at least eighteen police officials. The  mother of all event was hosted outside the office of the General at Merriman street on 7 January.
Even though a quarter of the officers announced at the event have a few years before they retire, they were excited when their names were announced.


During the interview by Sedibeng Ster, they thanked General Molefe for realizing their potential. In her exclusive interview Gen Molefe said every officer deserves the medal.“We only promote a few who had also served in the police for a long period. I want to also thank the gratitude shown by their families to support them. We all know they are working in difficult situations,” concluded Gen Molefe.
