Boipatong community bays for killer stepfather’s blood

They asked that he be released into their hands.

BOIPATONG. – The angry community of Boipatong bayed for the blood of the 40-year-old man who was arrested for allegedly killing two young boys and attempting to kill two others in Boipatong on Tuesday. The community bayed for his blood and asked the police to release him into their hands following his arrest on Wednesday. The unruly mob learned that the suspect had been arrested and immediately rushed to the Boipatong police station, after the arrest news spread like wildfire. They asked that he be released into their hands, police calmed the situation down.

The suspect had been on the run following the murders and was arrested in Jeppestown, Johannesburg.

It is suspected that he was on his way to his home in the Eastern Cape. The suspect will appear tomorrow at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrate’s court on 21 January where he will face a double murder charges and attempted murder of two victims. He is facing charges for double murder and attempted murder of two children.
