DE DEUR. – The body was discovered in an open veld in Sinqobile informal settlement next to Tshepong in De Deur.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Maria Letsele says, “When police arrived on the scene, witnesses reported that they came across a body wrapped with bedding sheets while they were working.

Letsele states that the body was decomposed beyond recognition, making it difficult to tell the  gender and age.

“The only clothing that could be identified is blue jean shorts worn by the deceased.

“Anyone who might  have lost a family member can come to De Deur police station for more information.”
