SEDIBENG.- The news from Naturena is that  Kaizer Chiefs have parted ways with their coach, Stuart Baxter, following the club’s poor performance in the DStv Premier League this season.

It was long coming especially after Kaizer Chiefs’ 1-0 defeat against SuperSport United in the DStv Premier League recently. Kaizer Chiefs is expected to make an announcement as to who is going to take over from Baxter to finish the current season.

However, Sedibeng Ster Sport has learned that Arthur Zwane and Dilon Sheppard who were assistants to Baxter will be appointed as co-coaches until the end of the season. This will be not the first time these two find themselves in the hot seat as they took the club to the final of CAF Champions League after the club parted ways with their then coach, Gavin Hunt. Not only that, they also made sure that the club finished in the top eight. After the game against SuperSport United, the club’s faithful bayed for Baxters blood saying:, “Baxter must go.”

The angry Kaizer Chiefs Supporters demanded that the club appoint Zwane as the Head Coach following his success with the Kaizer Chiefs MDC team.
