SASOLBURG.- Police spokesperson, Sergeant Josephine Rani said that the police were called to the accident scene on 28 May at about 19:15 where the driver of a Toyota Quantum alleged that he was driving from Vereeniging towards Sasolburg when he suddenly saw a male walking out of the long grass along the road.

“He allegedly ran in front of the vehicle. At the time the police arrived, the deceased was lying in the long grass next to the road. He was wearing a white long sleeve shirt and blue jeans with no shoes.”

The police appeal to the community members who can assist with the case to come forward.
