Son wanted following murder of Unitas Park elderly woman

The police in Vereeniging have launched a murder case docket after 65-year-old Selinah Busisiwe Mota was found murdered at her home in Unitas Park.

VEREENIGING. – Police spokesperson Captain Teboho Lephoto reports that police were summoned to the crime scene on Tuesday evening around 20:00.

“On arrival, police found the lifeless body of an elderly female person lying on the floor facing upwards in the kitchen. She was later declared deceased by paramedics.

“The motive behind the murder is unknown.”

Police are now looking for the son, Tshepo Lewis Molatedi Kgodumo who fled from the scene.

“Kgodumo can assist in the murder investigation. Anyone with information about the Kgodumo’s whereabouts can contact the SAPS emergency number on 10111 or leave an anonymous tip-off on the MySAPS app, ” Lephoto concludes
