VEREENIGING. – The SoMA will be presented during a special council sitting at the Vereeniging City Hall.

In July, ELM postponed the SoMA that was scheduled  to take place at the Wilberforce Community College  after a service delivery protest by residents of Cuba in Evaton.

At the time, Radebe said he was not sure where the event would be canceled or postponed.

“At this point I cannot fully say as to whether the SOMA is cancelled nor put on hold, I am yet to consult with Members of the Mayoral Committee, the Speaker of Council, Councillor Sibongile Soxuza and my office on the final decision,” Radebe said.

ELM spokesperson Makhosonke Sangweni says, “The presentation of SoMA will among other things communicate the service delivery plans for 2022/2023.”
