Dagga and money seized during Sebokeng’s operation Okae Molao

Seven suspects were arrested on Saturday during yet another installment of operation Okae Molao. 

SEBOKENG. – The operation was carried out by Sedibeng District SAPS together with various stakeholders in Sebokeng.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Gertrude Makhale says, ” A total of seven suspects were arrested while ensuring the safety of community of  Sebokeng.

A suspect was arrested for being in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

“Suspects were arrested for various crimes ranging from possession of an unlicensed firearm and live ammunition, selling of illicit cigarettes and for being undocumented,” she said.

Makhale adds that two liquor outlets were shutdown during the operation.

“A suspect found in possession of dagga and cash was also arrested,” she added.

Makhale states that all the arrested suspects will make an appearance at different Magistrate Courts in the district to answer to various charges.
