Local development teamsparticipate in Sundowns development tournament
Local development teams were invited to participate in the Mamelodi Sundowns development tournament that took place at Clapham High School in Pretoria on Saturday and Sunday, this weekeend.
SEDIBENG.- Celeb Academy and Ikageng Development FC represented Sedibeng in this youth development tournament for the u/12, u/14, u/16 and ladies’ soccer teams.
The tournament was part of Mamelodi Sundowns academy scouting network with development teams from Gauteng competing against each other for the two days. However, the tournament Coordinator, Lunga Nobela said that the tournament was not about winning but for the youngsters to have fun. He told Sedibeng Ster Sport that the tournament is part of development, especially mass participation.
