POLOKWANE.- Last night, approximately seventy people were injured when their bus overturned on the N1, approximately 40km outside Polokwane.

ER24 and numerous other services arrived on the scene at 22h13 to find a bus on its roof at the bottom of a short embankment. Medics assessed the patients and found that approximately seventy patients, including many children, had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no fatalities were found.
The patients were treated and transported to nearby Provincial hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations
