SEDIBENG.- Kaizer Chiefs Head Coach, Arthur Zwane has wise words ahead of their much anticipated DStv Premiership encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, on Saturday night.
Speaking at a press conference, during his team’s media open day yesterday, Zwane told the journalists in attendance that throwing youngsters into the deep end is going to benefit the club in the near future.
Zwane is under heavy criticism for playing youngsters with results not forthcoming in their two previous games. He told the journalists that Sundowns is a ‘beast’ that they are today because of their continuity and that believes that Kaizer Chiefs is on the right track.
“If we don’t play these youngsters when are they are going to play. Look at Sundowns they are a beast that they are today because of their continuity”, said Zwane.
Sundowns are at the top of the DStv Premiership with a 14 points gap between them and second place Richards Bay. This Saturday’s game will set the tone straight, with Kaizer Chiefs believing that they are still in the race to win the DStv Premiership despite Sundowns leading them with 19 points.
