SEDIBENG.- Banyana Banyana is scheduled to travel to Turkey to play in the Turkish Women’s Tournament from 13 – 23 February.

The tournament is part of Banyana Banyana in preparations for the Women’s World Cup. Coach Desiree Ellis has since announced the team that will take part in this tournament even though it was still not clear that Banyana Banyana will still travel to Turkey after a deadly and destructive earthquake struck the country.

However, Ellis said they still going on with preparations until they are told otherwise.

“There is communication with the tournament organizers and plans that the tournament will still go on regardless of what happened,” said Ellis.
