MMC Motsamai launches ‘Resebetsa Mmoho’ clean-up campaign

In an effort to keep Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM) clean, MMC Mokete Motsamai launched a cleaning campaign dubbed 'ResebetsaMmoho"

MIDVAAL.-  The Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM) MMC for Development and Planning, Mokete Motsamai this week launched the ‘Resebetsa Mmoho’ clean-up campaign.

The campaign is scheduled to take place on Mondays and Thursdays in Lakeside, Sicelo and Savanna City. Motsamai was joined by councillors and Community Work Programme (CWP) participants tasked with carrying out the campaign.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster,  Motsamai said that the joint outreach and campaign is expected to change people’s behaviour towards responsible management of waste and keeping their neighborhoods clean, green, and safe.

‘It is of utmost importance to me that we all take part in ensuring an environment that is not harmful to the health and well-being of our people. We encourage our residents and businesses to keep the environment clean, and to optimize environmental awareness and the cleaning efforts in our communities,” Motsamai concluded.
