SHARPEVILLE. – Busisiwe Jamani (17), one of the local models under the tutelage and management of the Royal Talent Academy is representing Sharpeville and Gauteng at the Miss Teen Universe South Africa.

The Sharpeville-born beauty first went to the auditions held on 1 April in Sandton where she made it to the semifinals of the pageant. Jamani started modeling four years ago and has been a lover of attention and inspiring other people by ascending different stages as a dancer and actress.

In 2019 her love for modeling took over and she started to become an aspiring model, where she won her first title at a school Valentine’s Day pageant. In 2022, under the management and coaching of Royal Talent Academy, she entered her first public pageant which was the Mr and Miss Sharpeville, where she made it to the top five.

Because of the support she received from her late mother and also her coach, she never gave up and later entered Miss Royal Talent Academy where she was crowned the second princess, she still holds that title. Her inspiration comes from being a role model to her peers and also the younger generation.

“ After my mother’s passing, I vowed to go all the way to make my guardian angel proud. I am working very hard to achieve my goals and dreams.”
