“We hosted a surprise Mother’s Day celebration for our female counterparts. This is an act of showing appreciation for everything they do for our learners and being mothers in their respective homes. We prepared lunch for all 35 female stuffers at the school, including our cleaners, educators and those who work at the gate as a way to spoil them,” he said.

Granny Jekemba a female educator at the school said the surprise made them feel special.

“We are well surprised by their gesture. We didn’t really expect that our male colleagues will do something for us. I have been pestering them about what they planned for us and no one bothered to share the details for the lunch,” she said,

Jekemba said “As woman at the school, we really feel appreciated. The actions of our male fellow colleagues speak to love, care and appreciation, and we hope they continue to take good care of us”.
