Halifax Group Pty Ltd has been appointed by the Department of Public Works as a completion contractor to execute the outstanding works on site.
Halifax Group Pty Ltd is seeking to appoint General Labourers, Semi-Skilled and Skilled Labourers for the completion of contract of the Vanderbiljpark SAPS Project.
The Position is open for Emfuleni Local Municipality Residents though preference will be given to Ward 10 residents.
Job seekers looking to access meaningful job opportunities in the project are encouraged to register on the Ward 10 Job Database by submitting their Curriculum Vitaes and supporting documents as listed on below requirements.
The Job Seekers/Applicants Database will be used for the sourcing and placement of candidates on the labour component of the project.

Requirements
• Grade 12 and relevant experience will be an added advantage
• Semi – Skilled and Skilled – Plumbers, Bricklayers, Carpenters, Tilers, Painters (Artisans to submit Trade Certificates)
• Must be able to communicate, read, write English and other local languages
• Must be currently unemployed
• Proof of Residence must be submitted for Verification.

• There is no guarantee to get a job on the project.
• People are employed according to their skills and the needs of the contractor.
• Submitting you documents to register doesn’t automatically mean one will be invited for the job.
• There are job opportunities at all skills levels, from skilled to semi-skilled to low skilled jobs.
DO I GET A SECOND CHANCE IF I’M NOT CONSIDERED ON THE INTERVIEW?
• When one is not selected, that person remains in the Database and is eligible to be invited again if the system draws that person’s name.
