Itireleng Task Team continues to clean Boipatong
"We are not get paid for what we are doing but we appreciate the little that people like Cape Gate are doing by donating to us."

BOIPATONG.- The Itireleng Task Team which consists of the members of the community continues to clean the Boipatong township.
This group was formed by mostly men and added women who took it upon themselves to clean and fix the streets of Boipatong. The group was recently hard at work cleaning Sekati Street next to the ZCC Church and Lebohang Secondary School.

To make it more interesting, the task team received tools from Cape Gate recently. Cape Gate has been supporting this group with resources to continue to make a difference in the community.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Parks Mofokeng who is the leader of the group said their main aim is to see all the Boipatong streets and open spaces being cleaned and fixed. He believes that with the support of Cape Gate, they will change the township.
Mofokeng said that they decided to clean Sekati Street because water was running all over affecting the motorists and the community.

“We took it upon ourselves to fix this street because we can’t only rely on the municipality to do everything for the community. As the Itireleng Task Team, we want to see our area clean like other townships.
“With the support of Cape Gate, we are going to turn this area into one of the best townships in Gauteng. We want to leave a legacy as men and women who commit themselves to bringing changes in our community. We are not get paid for what we are doing but we appreciate the little that people like Cape Gate are doing by donating to us so that we can continue with our work which is to clean our area,” concluded Mofokeng.
