IOTT hosts a successful substance awareness campaign

The IOTT is definitely not a church but an organization consisting of members for a common purpose.

SEBOKENG.— The Independent Order Of True Templers (IOTT) and interdominion organization in Evaton hosted a successful substances abuse awareness campaign at Zone 3 stop sign recently.

This awareness was supported by the following organizations, SANCA Vaal, Lesedi La Batjha, Thabong Mochela Youth Federation, and Tranquility Clinic.

The Evaton and Zone 3 community came in big numbers to support this initiative.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Samuel Petlane, hailed the awareness campaign as a great success with young and old coming to support this initiative in an attempt to fight alcohol and drug abuse. Petlane told Sedibeng Ster that they invited the members of the community to join them in a combined effort to minimise, if not, eradicate alcohol, drug abuse, and trafficking.

“Our mandate is clear, to fight alcohol and drug abuse in our communities. The IOTT is definitely not a church but an organization consisting of members for a common purpose but is faith-based.”

“We would like to thank everyone who came to support this initiative and in an effort to fight alcohol and drug abuse in our communities. It was a great success and I have no doubt that members of the community have a big role to play in fighting substance abuse,” said Petlane.
