VANDERBIJLPARK.- VESCO Academy beat Noordhoek Primary School 1-0 in the under-11 hockey match played at the Noordhoek sports grounds in Vanderbijlpark on Thursday.

The game went to interval with VESCO Academy leading 1-0.

In the second half, Noordhoek came back fighting and putting a lot of pressure in search of an equalizer but VESCO Academy defended with their backs on the wall. It was an exciting match to watch with both schools attacking each other when they were in possession of the ball.
